Hi everyone!  This week for writing we had to make an inforgraphic about one of the four sustainable development goals (or the SDGs) that we learnt about for out Project Based Learning for this term. I choose to do mine about zero hunger because I already have a lot of researched information on it because I did the same thing for my speech.

 Hi everyone! This week for writing we had to asses our speeches that we wrote and presented last week. We had to use this table thing to see if we met all the criteria for our speech. I personally think that I hit most of them but I still have room for improvement.

Writing T3 W1

Hi everyone! This week for writing we learnt about the fantastics which are basically "lenses" you can use when reading text to help you get a better understanding of it. The activity we had to do this week was reading the Hansel and Gretel story and then doing each activity for each plot point in the story. The four main plot points are Lost in the woods, Sinister dark woods, Witch description and Growing fatter & tricking the witch.

 Hi everyone! This week our reading goal was "Use questions to challenge the text, question the author, establish the authenticity of the text and state opinions". For our create task we had to make a screencastify of a conversation we would have discussing the topic and our opinions.

Hi everyone! This week for maths we did shapes. We learnt about identifying if shapes are polyhedra and non polyhedra and if they were platonic solid or non platonic solid. For our DLO (Digital Learning Object) We had to make a copy of this empty chart and sort the shapes out.

Reading T2 W11

Hi everyone! This week my goal for reading was "Independently predict, interpret and analyse text, 'reading between the lines' to gain deeper meaning". We learnt about inferring the text that we're reading basically just learning to make assumptions based on the information we already had.

Our DLO (Digital Learning Object) for this week was making assumptions/inferring the text that we choose to read. I read the short story How to fall by Whiti Hereaka.
