T2 W7 Maths

Hi everyone! My maths goal this week was "Use a broad range of strategies to solve multiplication and division problems with whole numbers & decimals (Doubling & Halving)". We learnt how to do proportional adjustment to multiplication and division problems with decimals. For our DLO we had to make a google drawing explaining how to do the strategy and some of the example questions we did in our workshop.

Reading T2 W7

Hi everyone! This week's reading goal was "visualise using all of the senses, and talk about how this enriches meaning". We learnt about about how writers use adjectives and metaphors so that their readers can visualise the scene in their head. One of out tasks in the workshop was to choose a sentence to analyse that were from books. We had to analyse what the author meant and what senses (touch, taste, hearing, sight, smell) they used in that sentence. For our DLO we had to do basically the same thing but the difference was we had to look for our own sentences from the first chapter of a book. I choose the book "The Light Between Worlds".
