Hi! my name is SAM i'm a year 6 I love reading and drawing (i'm good at it :) and  my friends are Chanelle ( check out her blog ) my other friend is Gianna she just got her blog so go check it out. 

Student teachers

 At school lately we have been having student teachers. Student teachers are people that are learning to be teachers. The student teachers are very nice and they are very educated. The student teacher's are called Miss Trotman. Mr Williams and Miss Kippenberger/Miss K. I have Miss Trotman as my recipe's teacher . I have Miss K as my second home base teacher and I have Mr Williams as my math teacher. They will be soon moving on to be real teacher's so they won't be always there. Top team

This week on Monday our school participated in Top team. Top team is challenges which you have to complete by using teamwork. There were at least 10 challenges but we didn't do 2 of them.

My favourite challenge was when you had to fill up a pipe with water but it had holes so working as a team we had to block the water from going out the holes. Me and my friend got soaked because the water kept on flowing out holes. My other favourite was when you had to fill up bucket of water and go through an obstacle coarse while balancing it. The water spilt all over me.

Arts rotation

Hey bloggers, Wednesday this week we started Arts rotations. We got to choose out of Visual art, Dance and Music. Our theme for our arts rotations is different cultures. In dance we learnt the cultural dance for Hawaii. We learnt the simple steps and got to go into our groups and made up our own Hawaiian dance. Me and my friends think we did well but we weren't really in time with the music but we still had fun. Make sure to keep up with my blogs.

Athletics day

Hi blogger, on Wednesday this week I had Athletics. There was a lot of events I participated in. Like:


High jump
Long jump
Sprints
Long distance
Shot put
Discuss

It went well. I got 1st in Discuss, 2nd in Shot put, And 2nd in 80m sprints. I'm not sure If I'm in the relay team. Athletics day was so fun and I can't wait to do it again.

We practise every Thursday and my favourite thing is that we get to come in our uniform.
My best event is sprints. This year I want to do 80m sprints. I can't wait for athletics and I hope I have fun.
